Enter the flat-pack rigid box (also known as collapsible or foldable rigid boxes). These innovative designs maintain the premium feel, structural integrity, and thickness of standard rigid boxes but can be shipped completely flat. They are assembled at the point of fulfillment, reducing shipping volume by up to 75%. However, converting these complex structures requires unparalleled precision. If the board slitting (via ST086) or the case lining (via ST040PP) is offset by even half a millimeter, the collapsible box will not fold square, causing the magnetic closure to fail.
